The Process
Contact Form
I am so happy you are here. The first step is filling out my short contact form. You can expect an email back within 48 hours between the hours of M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Contract and Invoice
Once we’ve narrowed down the details, like date and location, I will send over my contract + invoice. I would love to reserve your date as soon as possible. In oder to do so, I require that the contract be e-signed + that a non-refundable retainer of $100 be paid up front. The remaining balance is due 1 week before our shoot. If you would like me to customize a payment plan for you, I am happy to.
Questionnaire or Call
Depending on your preferred method of contact I will send over an electronic questionnaire or schedule a call to learn about your vision or love story. We’ll also go over location, wardrobe and how I can make you feel the most comfortable in front of the camera.

What is your turn around time?
Getting your photos to you fast while still giving each photo the time it deserves is incredibly important to me. I take on a limited amount of projects per year so that I can dedicate that time to you + your partner. Depending on time of year, your session is typically delivered within 2 weeks and the exact timeline will be clarified in your contract.
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
I completely understand this concern + trust me you are not alone. Most of my clients feel this way. I will encourage you + your partner the whole time. I want to make creating art together exactly what it should be...fun! I offer direction, prompts, and music (depending on the location) and will never leave you hanging during our session. We’re a team and we’ve got this.
Can you use photoshop on our photos?
I am a firm believer in body positivity and truly celebrating who you are, so my use of photoshop is minimal. I keep my edits as natural and true to the day as possible: I do not change hair color/shape, skin color, eyelash extensions, wardrobe, body shape. I do remove blemishes or bruises that normally wouldn’t be there as well as anything distracting in the background. In close up portraits, I will smooth skin + slightly touch up makeup. I also always ask in my e-questionnaire or call with you if there is anything you’d like me to be conscious of and I promise to make it a high priority during our session. My goal is always for you to feel beautiful and comfortable while shooting.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I require a $100.00 non-refundable retainer + signed contract to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before our shoot. I accept debit and credit cards and will send your invoice electronically. I’m also happy to come up with a customized payment plan upon request, which can break the cost into 3 payments.
Do you provide Raw files or proofing?
I do not give out raw files or provide proofing (where client receives an unedited gallery and chooses the images themselves). I only deliver the best, edited images from our session because I believe editing is an integral part of the creative process. Making sure you love your photographer’s editing style and trust them to document your day is a huge part of choosing the photographer that is the best fit for you. As much as I would love to be that person, it is way more important to me that you chose someone who’s style you adore and that you trust, so that you can enjoy your photos for years to come.
What if the weather is terrible?
I always keep an eye on the weather forecast the week of to make sure there isn’t a chance of rain, thunderstorms, or would put you at risk in any way. If we are in a tropical location, where rain and thunderstorms are common and pass quickly, I do not reschedule. Clouds and wind make for beautiful photographs, so I also do not reschedule unless the weather is extreme in those cases. If there is a high chance that the weather will be too extreme to shoot in, I will reach out ahead of time to find a backup date or location and will put your deposit towards a reschedule.
